Tom Jenkins announces headline UK tour!
Singer-songwriter Tom Jenkins has announced a UK tour this November/December with shows in London, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff.
The announcement follows a successful run of shows supporting Megan Moroney this Summer and a fantastic set at The Long Road Festival.
Jenkins hails from the valleys in South Wales and grew up surrounded by the ex-coal mining communities and rugged landscape where he farms.
In the 90's he was referred to as “Britain’s Youngest Shepherd” by Breakfast TV and National News and a life in music seemed world's away.
He played in local rock bands, eventually fronting his own band releasing albums and touring with the likes of Motörhead, The Presidents of the USA plus many more established acts across Europe and the US.
As he made it over to New Zealand, Jenkins found the right time and place to write his debut album ‘Misery in Comfort’.
Last year, he released his second album ‘It Comes in The Morning, It Hangs in the Evening Sky’ which was produced by life-long friend Tom Campbell.
Tickets go on sale Friday 8th September at 10am www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
